The 100T looks like it's getting its hands on the Apex again.
100 Thieves signed NiceWigg as Apex Legends content creator today and got their hands on the game after a long hiatus.
NiceWigg dominated the Apex scene and rose to the world's number one Octane shortly after the legend was released. In addition to his talent, he also impresses with his use of a controller in high-end games as arguably the most famous Apex controller player and the number one controller pro after signing with Counter-Logic Gaming in 2019.
Despite being unsigned, NiceWigg has competed in several high-profile tournaments, including the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS), the crown jewel of Apex esports.
The announcement comes after a video where NiceWigg talks about the moments that made up his career, including pairing up with Dizzy, chasing the world's number one Octane, and even being hosted by Shroud. NiceWigg's mom also appeared in another video posted on 100T's Twitter, possibly without the creator's knowledge.
Alongside the announcement, NiceWigg hosted a broadcast to share the news with followers dressed in 100 Thieves gear. He was exhilarated by the news and the support of his fans. His family also appeared on the phone during the broadcast.
Signature is one way the 100T can get hands on Apex again. The organization had an esports team in battle royale's quick launch, but dropped its roster in August 2019 after poor results.
