Vladyslav “Kiles” Shvets has been officially removed from Acend's active VALORANT team, the organization announced today. In our previous news, we mentioned that Acend does his training without Kiles.

Kiles has been part of Acend since March 2021, when the organization entered the competitive arena of VALORANT. During this one-year mission, the Ukrainian most notably helped them win VALORANT Champions, the most prestigious international tournament for FPS held by Riot Games in December. Kiles is now free to explore other options, but his contract with Acend remains.

With Kiles remaining as a substitute, only three players remained in Acend's VALORANT squad. Acend parted ways with in-game leader Santeri “BONECOLD” Sassi in late March after a disastrous performance at the VCT EMEA Stage One Challengers that made them miss Masters Reykjavik this month.

The organization is in the process of rebuilding the team for the remainder of the season. Multiple sources said Team BDS player David “Fizzy” Figueiredo and Wave Esports backup player Yiğithan “DeepMans” Kesici are training with other Acend players.

With no VCT matches on the horizon, it's possible that Acend will take some more time before deciding which players to join the roster. The organization has retained only Mehmet Yağız “cNed” İpek, Patryk “starxo” Kopczyński and Aleksander “zeek” Zygmunt from the Championship winning squad for now.
