PUBG: New State's January patch is almost here and it brings a lot of new content to the game. One of the features coming to the game is a new battle royale mode with faster and more intense matches.

The “Extreme” BR mode will provide players with a way to engage in the casual action with matches lasting 20 minutes. In the mode, 64 players will parachute into a smaller area of Troi to fight. The playable area will be chosen randomly and will be different for each match. Players will be equipped with a P1911 pistol, a smoke grenade, 300 drone credits, and fully-charged boost meters to take down enemies once they touch the ground.

Two drops will be dropped on Troi at the start of the match. These will give you high-end gear in your hands. Drop drops will offer high-risk, high-reward action. Some other differences in this mode will include the lower altitude of the plane, more weapons, vehicle frequency, and a lower cooldown for killed teammates to respawn.

Krafton also announced that it has recently partnered with Croatian automotive manufacturer Rimac Automobili. As part of this collaboration, the company's Rimac Nevera electric sports car is being added to PUBG: New State.

The exact release date for the January patch has not been announced, but Krafton said it will arrive next week.
