A new trailer reveals more about WolfEye Studios' isometric approach to immersive sims.

Weird West, the immersive sim under development at Rafael Colantonio's WolfEye Studios, will be released on January 11.

Colantonio is known for immersive sims like Arx Fatalis, Dark Messiah, Dishonored, Prey, but Weird West is a big departure from the games he's been working on at Arkane: It's isometric rather than first-person. We said in a preview earlier this year that its unusual perspective doesn't take away from the experience that promises to be "an immersive sim that's as complex and chaotic as the best," and Colantonio highlighted that aspect of the game. the first trailer for “The Road to Weird West”.

“One of our goals for the game is that anything that looks interactive is actually interactive,” he says in the video. “We can loot things, search for anything, take items from inventories or place items from your inventory on the world, carry corpses, bury corpses, kick things, set things on fire, and more. it is possible and it feeds simulation to create opportunities for play.”

Unlike many first-person immersive sims, Weird West is more obviously an RPG than a shooter. Players will be able to customize abilities and perks, embark on quests, or simply explore and see what's out there: An extraterrestrial travel map will allow for open-ended roaming, complete with random encounters.

Weird West is currently on Steam It can be pre-purchased and of course doing so will earn you a small bonus – in this case, a horse called Calamity, which will provide various bonuses and some extra starting loot. to learn more weirdwest.comVisit .
