Publisher CD Projekt announced in a financial meeting on Thursday that the first expansion pack for Cyberpunk 2077 is currently in development and will be released in 2023.
In addition to announcing continued support for Cyberpunk 2077 and the imminent release of part of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, the company also stated that development work is underway on the recently delayed next-gen version and new untitled version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The Witcher game will continue until 2022.
When the game was released in December 2020, there were several reviews that spoke of glitches, bugs, and other performance-impacting issues that plagued the game.
Developer CD Projekt Red has spent the past year releasing patches for additional purchasable flats, weapons, and UI fixes to fix these aforementioned issues. This new, currently untitled expansion represents the first full-scale content for the game since the game's release.
