Alan Wake 2 has a multitude of collectible types and items for you to acquire as you explore vast areas. Sometimes, you may feel like you're missing items and don't know where they are. Luckily, there's an accessory that shows you where they might be. Our guide explains the Alan Wake 2 Mayor Setter Charm item, which unlocks all collectibles, points of interest, and resources when playing as Saga Anderson. Likewise, please be reminded that this guide contains minor spoilers.
How to make all collectibles appear with the Mayor Setter Charm while playing Alan Wake 2?
The Alan Wake 2 Mayor Setter Charm comes from, you guessed it, the Mayor Setter banners in Bright Falls and Watery. There are six in total for you to find. Before we talk about their locations, here are a few important facts:
- Be sure to read the campaign slogans on each poster to be on the safe side. If you go to Saga's Mind Space, there should be a frame on the wall with the slogans you found written on it.
- Once you find all six, there will be a note on the poster saying Mayor Setter is in Sulu. We will discuss this a little later in our guide.
- If you've progressed further in the campaign, you can continue tagging banners by revisiting the area. Just try not to pass the point of no return (the game will clearly warn you about this).
Mayor Setter spots in Bright Falls
There are several Alan Wake 2 Mayor Setter signs found in Bright Falls. From what we can tell, two are easily visible during your first visit and any time thereafter, while the third is from a later section.

- Location: From the hut, head across the street. Just opposite the restaurant.
Mayor Setter sign #2: Mayor Setter Won't Back Down in the Face of Problems

Mayor Setter spots in Watery
There are three Mayor Setter signs scattered throughout the village of Watery. The good news is that you can tag them all during the same section because of how you progress through the objectives. If you missed something, you can visit Watery again later.
Mayor Setter banner #4: Mayor Setter Will Stand Up for Justice

- Location: In front of Suomi Hall/Bar in Downtown Watery.
Mayor Setter sign #5: Mayor Setter Will Talk When You Ask
- Episode: Return 3 – Local Girl
- Location: Located along the road to Huotari Well, one of the main attractions of Coffee World.
Mayor Setter sign #6: Mayor Setter Is Not Afraid of Tough Questions
- Episode: Return 3 – Local Girl

Where to meet Mayor Setter
Once you've tagged all six banners, it's time to meet Mayor Setter in Alan Wake 2. Simply head to Downtown Watery and enter Suomi Hall (i.e. the bar) near where you parked your car. You will see the mayor on stage – you may have already guessed the mayor's identity by looking at the slogans.
In any case, meet him to earn the achievement “The Good Things in Life”. You will also see that you have the Mayor Setter Charm in your inventory.
At the time of this writing, we've seen several Alan Wake 2 collectibles appear after wearing the Mayor Setter Charm item. These include Alex Casey Lunchboxes and Nursery Rhymes. However, we did not see any icons for Taxidermy Stag Heads. Likewise, there were a few lunchboxes that we only came across by chance, even though they weren't initially visible on the map. We cannot confirm if the Mayor Setter Charm works as intended or if there is a bug with the map icons.
