Acend parted ways with Kiles!

Acend parted ways today, less than a month after signing VALORANT player Vladyslav “Kiles” Shvets to the bench.

Kiles has been part of Acend since March 2021 and has helped the team win several tournaments, including VALORANT Champions in December 2021, Riot Games' most important FPS event to date. He and Santeri “BONECOLD” Sassi were placed on the bench after Acend failed to qualify for VCT Masters One Reykjavík in March and finished the group stage 2-3.

“He was with us from the very beginning and took us all the way to the championship,” Acend said in an official statement. We thank him for everything he has done and wish him the best in his next adventure.”

Even before Kiles was taken to the bench in early April, Acend was seen training with Wave Yiğithan “DeepMans” Kesici and David “Fizzy” Figueiredo. It's unclear whether these two will join VALORANT Champions 2021 champions Acend, but DeepMans are currently on the Wave Esports bench, while Fizzy left Team BDS in March.

Acend's VALORANT staff currently only includes Mehmet Yağız “cNed” İpek, Patryk “starxo” Kopczyński, Aleksander “zeek” Zygmunt and BONECOLD. The organization is expected to renew its roster before the second episode of the 2022 season.
