Acend announced yesterday that they have added two new players to their VALORANT roster.

Former Vitality player Vakaris “vakk” Bebravičius has joined Acend along with former Giants player Ondřej “MONSTEERR” Petrů. The duo replaced Vlad “Kiles” Shvets and former in-game leader (IGL) Santeri “BONECOLD” Sassi in Acend.

The team announced today that Kiles has been transferred to the Giants. THESPIKE.GG Former Acend player BONECOLD is gearing up to join Team Vitality alongside Jokūbas “Cender” Labutis, Kamil “baddyG” Graniczka, Joona “H1BER” Parviainen and Nathan “nataNk” Bocqueho, according to a report by BONECOLD.

Acend made these two roster changes following their early departure during the first stage of the EMEA VALORANT Champions Tour earlier this year. In Stage One, which ended on March 27, Acend finished fifth in the group out of the six teams in Group B. Acend managed to beat G2 and SuperMassive Blaze during the tournament but lost to Guild, Fnatic and BBL Esports. This ranking prevented Acend from attending the VCT Masters in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Acend was recognized as the best team in the world after winning the VCT Champion last year. At Champions, VALORANT's biggest event, Acend finished first after an impressive 3-2 win over Gambit in the grand final.

Acend will compete alongside other European leading teams in the second phase of the EMEA VCT, which will start on 13 May. However, the groups have not yet been determined.
