AMD Radeon RX 7000 Series release date announced!

AMD today announced the AMD Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards. The series includes two models: RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT.

Both AMD Radeon RX 7000 series models enable high refresh rate 4K gaming, support 2.1 DisplayPort, feature dual media engines with AV1 support and produce 54% more performance per watt compared to previous generation cards. The RX 7900 XT costs $899 and has 20GB of 384-bit GDDR6 memory. The hardware also has 84 compute units, 2000 MHz game clock and 300W total card power. The RX 7900 XTX costs $999 and has 24GB of 384-bit GDDR6 memory. It has 96 compute units, 2300 MHz game clock and 355W total card power.

In September, Nvidia announced the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080. The RTX 4090 also has 24GB of 384-bit GDDR6 memory and costs $1599. The screenshot was released on October 12 after some delay news. Originally, the RTX 4080 was available in 16GB and 12GB models, but the 12GB model has been delayed indefinitely and may be ready to re-launch with a new name. The 16GB model will still launch on November 16 and will start at $1199.

Both Radeon RX 7900 XT and Radeon RX 7900 XTX will be released on December 13.
