The opening week of the VALORANT Champions Tour Europe, Middle East and Africa Challengers has been tough to watch for Turkish fans. Both its representatives, SuperMassive Blaze and BBL Esports, closed the week with a 2-0 loss.

BBL's new Jett player Doğukan “QutionerX” Dural talked about his heavy defeat against Guild Esports, which he wanted to face in the group, and the differences between playing against EMEA teams and playing in Turkey qualifiers. He also left a short but effective message for BBL fans.

QutionerX has already set its targets: Other Turkish representatives, SuperMassive Blaze. “The last series we played against them, we were sick,” he said. Now I want to play a series with them on equal terms.”

He also stated that he wants to face his former teammates CyderX and Izzy once again, that he no longer has a disease that can bring him back.

Although QutionerX did not impress him much, he also covered the differences between playing with Turkish and foreign teams in depth.

“For me, there is not that big of a difference between playing against Turks and playing against foreigners,” he said. There is a little more tension here as it is very easy to counter Turkish teams as a Jett player. I am very comfortable as Jett as I can predict what skills will be thrown at me from a Turkish player.

But here we can encounter very different things. For example, they handled A Lobby in a different way in our series today. We may encounter different things, but I think Turks aim better than foreigners. I'm still behind that."

“I don't care who is against me,” he said. “I will not fear anyone or back down. I will not belittle anyone. We will play the same game we would play against any opponent, at least that's how I see it."

As his final words to this interview, he left a message to the many BBL fans around the world watching this tournament. Here is a very short message that skillfully conveys the adaptability of Turkish teams in tournaments and their belief that their efforts will pay off in time:

"Calm down!"
