A glitch was recently discovered in Breath of the Wild. The glitch was that a horse could walk comfortably on the ground with only the top of its head visible.

A recently discovered glitch has been discovered in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The related glitch is a horse randomly walking on the ground. The 2017 Game of the Year remains popular on Nintendo Switch four years after its launch, and a sequel has now been officially announced, with an uncertain release date of 2022.

During its lifetime, many bugs were discovered in the massive open world version of Hyrule. Sometimes these bugs can be used to a player's advantage, such as the BOTW bomb malfunction that allows Link to fly without using his paraglider. Then there are the bugs that are totally weird and that, depending on what aspect of the game they break and to what degree, can actually be more fun than annoying.

Reddit user torresmoss recently showcased a bug they found at Riverside Stable where one of the horses somehow glowed underground. Afterwards, only the top of his head remained visible as he continued to move haphazardly around the earth, as if he weren't there. According to one of the comments on the post, this glitch isn't specific to horses, it can happen to enemies as well, making things a lot harder for the player while their enemies still can't do any damage.

Nintendo acknowledged that not all bugs in Breath of the Wild were necessarily bad, and instead the development team chose to adopt some unplanned elements from the game. We hope the team continues that mentality for the upcoming sequel, as fun bugs like this underground horse have become part of what makes The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild so great and enduring.
