Crytek Hunt: Extended Traitor's Moon event, apologizing for the problems experienced in Showdown.

Players have been struggling with bugs and disconnections since the event went live in March.

The Traitor's Moon event in Hunt: Showdown, which started in March, offered some "sweet legendary skins" to players who had collected enough points to claim them.

But for some players, the process has become complicated due to errors, connection issues and other issues. It had to take the servers offline so the developers could release fixes and try to fix the disconnects. As Crytek said on Twitter today, these cuts prevented some players from "comfortably attending the event." As a result, Traitor's Moon has extended its event to April 18. (Normally scheduled for completion on April 14.)

"Once again, thank you for your support during this event, we know it's not easy, but thank you for sticking with us and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the downtime and issues encountered."

The latest update released today fixed a vulnerability that allowed players to be killed multiple times during a game. Crytek also warned that players found to be abusing the bugs will roll back their kill-death rates and issue warnings and bans to players depending on the severity of the violation. The update also fixes a bug that caused the Golden Cash Register to constantly spawn at a certain point and makes "general server stability improvements".
