More than 20 years later, is there still no greater power than him?

Capcom is releasing some additional content for Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, this time in the form of a new Cyber-Akuma skin.

The mechanized outfit for Satsui no Hado's future dark master will be released on September 21 as part of SFV's Season Five Premium Pass. It will also be available individually for $3,99 when the game arrives.

Cyber-Akuma first appeared in 1997's Marvel Super Heroes vs. He emerged as Street Fighter's final boss and was the cyborg version of the Street Fighter villain under the control of the evil mutant Apocalypse. It has a mechanical right arm called the Booster Rocket, retractable metal wings, and four additional metal arms, but these only appeared in post-match win poses.

The mechanical beast's return in SFV basically retains the full look of its original appearance, it has been updated to match the newer character model to some extent. Its wings are retracted except for a few animations, but the metal enhancements are very noticeable.

There was originally a mod for the PC version of SFV that was added to the same costume until December 2016, but is now officially available for purchase with no relation to the original mod.

A second new skin will also be announced during the Street Fighter League Season 16 US Finals on September 3, likely to be released at the same time as Cyber-Akuma or a little later.

This will keep players satisfied as they continue to wait for Luke, the fifth and final DLC character added as part of Season Five, due to be released in November.
