How to Upgrade Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077
There's no denying the fact that players can add mods to their weapons to gain an advantage, but they can only do so much. Eventually, players will need to upgrade their weapons to keep up with the enemies they encounter in Night City.
It is important to note that upgrading weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 is not easy and it is preferable for players to start using this mechanic as soon as they start the game. To upgrade weapons in Cyberpunk 2077, follow these simple steps:
- Accessing the Game Menu
- Select Production and then Upgrades.
- Choose a Weapon to upgrade.
- Players will be given a preview of the weapon along with new stats, including information such as Attacks Per Second, Damage, DPS, and more.
- Make sure the necessary Components are available to upgrade the weapon. Components required for the upgrade appear to the left of the player's stats.
Players can only upgrade weapons they have in their inventory. For example, weapons stored in a vehicle cannot be processed.
The Components required to upgrade weapons will depend on their rarity and how many times they have been upgraded. It's worth noting that all weapons can be upgraded in limited numbers, but they don't require a lot of Components.
To upgrade weapons, players must have Components of the same level as the weapon. For example, players need rare Components for rare weapons, epic Components for epic weapons, etc. will need it. Luckily, finding Components in Night City isn't difficult, as there are tons of enemies and loot boxes to check for loot throughout the city. Rare resources can be difficult to find, but they are necessary if players want to upgrade their rare weapons.
