Druid Build Guide, Druid's Diablo 4He needs to take advantage of different types of damage and animals to shoot in .
druid, Diablo 4 It is an interesting class in beta. While players love the idea of transforming into a bear or summoning a wolf on command, the class has proven to be not as powerful as other classes. Druids can take advantage of elemental damage such as lightning, poison, and earth, but players have found it difficult to create too much synergy between these damage types.
If you're having a hard time building your druid build cohesively and effectively, then fear not, because we've put together the entire build for the class. However, keep in mind that developers can easily boost the Druid and other skills before the full game releases in June.
Diablo 4 Druid Build Guide
Our druid build chooses a mix of defensive and AoE skills allows your character to deal a ton of damage at the start of a fight and then increase the damage reduction while you wait for your cooldowns. Of course, we chose some skills that use the Druid's shape-shifting abilities, as this is the most fun aspect of the class.
Below you can see the six skills we've selected from each skill tree branch for the Druid, and what upgrades we'll give to the skills. These are based on the 4 levels in Diablo 25 beta. You can read our full guide to see each of the Druid's available skills.
Basic Skill: Maul (Wild) – This will be the attack you use the most, and it will be the attack you will use to build the spirit, which is the measure that allows you to use other skills. Maul turns you into a bear and attacks a single enemy for solid damage. The ability also has a chance to be a lucky hit that deals more damage. You can also choose the Wild upgrade to have a chance to knock down the enemies you hit.
Spirit Skill: Pulverized (Primal) – Pulverize is one of the best AoE skills the Druid has access to. Once again, you transform into a bear and attack the ground in front of you, dealing damage to all enemies within its radius. It can deal massive damage to enemies if you're close enough, and the Primal upgrade allows you to take 4% less damage over 20 seconds, allowing you to flee to a safer distance without being hit by enemies for more damage than normal.
Defensive Skill: Debilitating Roar (Preserving) - This will be your best bet for the defensive skills the Druid has access to. Remain in wolf-bear form to yell at enemies and reduce their damage by 4% for 50 seconds. The Protection upgrade also heals yourself for 4% of your Max Health for the entire duration of the skill.
Companion Skill: Ravens (Ferocious) – We chose Ravens over Wolves due to the fact that Ravens are more AoE focused than Wolves. When you summon ravens, they attack a target area for 6 seconds. However, when Ravens are not summoned, one of them will still attack random enemies every 5 seconds. The Ferocious upgrade reduces their damage reduction, making enemies vulnerable when attacked by Ravens.
Wrath Skill: Trample (Savage) – This is another teddy bear skill, this time players become unstoppable and dash forward, knocking down enemies in their path. Not only does this deal massive damage to enemies, it's also a great way to get out of trouble if you're surrounded by enemies or need to heal. The Savage upgrade grants you 20 extra souls when used; this is great if you want to follow the Trample with another skill like Pulverize.
Ultimate Skill: Grizzly Rage (Prime and Supreme) – Finally, we have Druid's Ultimate, which should be Grizzly Rage for most builds. This skill is the last teddy bear skill, allowing players to become a stronger version of themselves for 10 seconds, giving them 20% bonus damage and 20% damage reduction. While the 10 second timer is running, players gain an additional 3% damage per second. If you kill any enemy during Grizzly Rage's duration, the duration on form is increased by one second. An awesome Ultimate that can really save you in a boss fight or other tough situation.
Key Passive: Ursine Strength - Gain an additional 3% to Max Health for 20 seconds while being a bear and then transforming into another form. You also deal 80% extra damage while healthy (over 30% HP).
passives
- Predatory Instinct – Critical Strike damage increased to melee enemies
- Iron Fur – Gain extra damage reduction while in Werebear Form
- Mending – Gain extra healing from all sources while Werebear In form
- Call of the Wild - Companions deal 10% bonus damage
When shapeshifting into a Werebear, the Druid is arguably at his best, so this is where we decided to take this build. We'll see if the full game makes any changes for this Diablo 4 class.
