Disney's D23 expo will kick off in September. This year, Kinda Funny's Blessing will be hosting a digital event hosted by Adeoye Jr. and featuring new content from upcoming Disney and Marvel games on their social channels. According to Disney, it will feature new trailers for Disney Dreamlight Valley, Marvel's Midnight Suns, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, as well as first gameplay footage of Skydance New Media.

Described as a Marvel community game, the game was officially approved in October last year and is being developed by Uncharted writer and director Amy Hennig. Skydance will be New Media's "narrative-driven, action-adventure" game featuring an original story set in the Marvel universe.

In the project's introduction, Hennig described the game as a game about "humanity, complexity and humor" set in the Marvel universe. Beyond the Skydance project, there is a lot of other content on the horizon that includes Disney and Marvel features. Disney Dreamlight Valley may seem inspired by Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, but this simulation game goes to great lengths to differentiate itself from those games.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been a huge hit this year, and while plenty of DLC has been released since its release in April, you can probably expect an announcement of new content coming for the game in the near future. Marvel's Midnight Suns has been delayed to next year, and the tactical turn-based RPG developed by Firaxis will be released before Take-Two's fiscal year ends in March 2023.

The D23 convention was originally scheduled for 2021, but has been postponed until this year and 9-11 Septemberwill be held between The event often offers fans the opportunity to see footage from upcoming movies and TV shows, and stand in the front row for announcements about upcoming movies, theme park expansions, and more. While Marvel has a lot to announce at San Diego Comic-Con last month, you can expect more details on everything from the Fantastic Four to Blade, Daredevil's new TV show, the upcoming Thunderbolts movie and much more.
