In Dragon's Dogma 2 Some missions take you to very remote areas. However, there is one in particular that takes you to an area full of undead. Our guide Dragon's Dogma 2 Till Death Do Us Part It tells you how to complete your mission. Also, please note that this guide contains minor spoilers.

How to complete Dragon's Dogma 2 Till Death Do Us Part?

Till Death Do Us Part is a side quest from an NPC in the capital Vernworth. First, you'll need to talk to an NPC named Oswald, who often wanders around near the fountain. He will tell you about a cruel man named Sir Ludolph.

Next, talk to a woman named Margit in front of the Watchhead's Home. Don't worry – she's not the Margit you think, so the "bad omen" won't happen.

Margit claims that her husband, Ser Gregor, has been a frequent visitor to Ser Ludolph's home since he was assigned to go to the Illdoers' Rest. She then realizes Ludolph's nefarious plan and begs you to save her husband.

How to get to Misty Marshes?

To complete the Dragon's Dogma 2 Till Death Do Us Part quest You must go to Misty Marshes. There are three ways to get there.

From Harve Village: If you are only exploring the northern part of the world map, you can follow the paths to the north of Harve Village. Then, cross the stone bridge to the west. A narrow path leads you to a section shrouded in dark fog.

From Checkpoint Rest Town/Ancient Battleground: In the second method, you follow the path east of the Ancient Battleground (also near where you encountered the Sphinx). The gate to the north is barred, but to get through it you can climb the rock formations or the walls of the Cenotaph. Once you get behind it, you should be able to destroy the wooden plank to unlock the door.

From Sphinx Mountain Shrine: The third option is for those who have solved the riddles of the Sphinx in the Mountain Shrine (note that you must have placed a Portcrystal in the Mountain Shrine for fast travel purposes). When you come back up the steps you will see a campsite. From that point, there is a narrow passage that takes you to an abandoned village near the Illdoers' Rest.

Exploring Misty Marshes to reach the Illdoers' Resting Place

If you chose the first two options, you will find yourself in a large area completely covered with fog. Not only is visibility poor, but also Bandits, Skeleton Warriors, Zombies and Phantoms You will also have to struggle with it. Yes, the undead will appear no matter what time of day. The minimap won't show you the roads either, so you'll have to rely on torches/burners to light the way.

Your goal is to reach the abandoned village with a campsite and a Riftstone. If you look a little east, you will see a small island in the middle of the lake. There, you'll find Ser Gregor and his soldiers fighting a creature called a Dullahan, also known as the Headless Horseman.

Not: If you follow the barbecues heading south, you'll eventually reach a Griffin nest. Defeat the monster and receive an extremely rare reusable Portcrystal.

How to defeat the Dullahan and rescue Ser Gregor?

Dragon's Dogma 2 Dullahan is a monster boss and is also quite rare. In fact, the creature you encountered as part of this quest was the only creature we encountered in our game.

Dullahan uses his scythe to tear apart his enemies. Moreover, his disembodied head can summon lost souls that fly towards his opponents. Likewise, he can “Force Choke” characters and then throw them away like nothing happened. It even teleports periodically.

Perhaps the most dangerous aspect of this battle is that Ser Gregor could die permanently. This happens if the Dullahan performs any of its knockback attacks and Ser Gregor is thrown into the lake. The quest log will even tell you that you were unable to save him. Therefore, we recommend fighting the Dullahan near the center of the island. If he gets close to the lake, you may want to pick up Gregor and move him away from the lake to be safe.

In any case, there are two ways to successfully complete the Dragon's Dogma 2 Till Death Do Us Part quest:

  • Make Dullahan teleport – If the Dullahan has taken enough damage, he will become enraged. The ghost's head attaches to its body and screams periodically, causing characters to collapse to the ground. If you can't deal too much damage to him in a minute, he will teleport and run away.
  • Defeat Dullahan – Of course, if you manage to defeat him, he will drop 300 RC and some Cursed Dullahan Bone materials. You will also receive the "Before Dawn Breaks" achievement.

No matter what happens to Dullahan, you must return to Margit in Vernworth. If you managed to save Sir Gregor, You will receive 2.800 XP, 5.000 gold, Steeled Virtue (sword) and Lustrous Targe (shield). Likewise, you will learn how Sir Ludolph met a fitting end.

However, if Ser Gregor died in battle, you will not receive the Lustrous Targe at all and Margit will be saddened by her husband's death.

In any case, that's everything you need to know about the Dragon's Dogma 2 Till Death Do Us Part mission and the Dullahan boss fight.
