One of the latest Elden Ring mods has replaced the infamous Tree Sentinel's horse with Thomas the Tank Engine, portraying the enemy in a new light.
Every game released for PC now gets a set of mods. Since its release in February, Elden Ring players have made several different mods that change the gameplay experience, including a mod that adds a photo mode to Elden Ring. Now, a mod that changes Tree Sentinel amazingly has been released.
Elden Ring's Tree Sentinel is one of the first optional bosses players will encounter. This boss can be difficult to beat as players encounter it early in the game and are poorly equipped to face it at that point. Despite this, many players managed to defeat Tree Sentinel the first time they encountered it, albeit with hard work and luck. While the enemy can be quite intimidating, one player changed the boss in a hilarious way, making it a little less threatening.
A player by the name of Skymoon has released a clip that makes a big change to Tree Sentinel. In the video we see Tree Sentinel's horse being transformed into Thomas the Tank Engine via a mod. The change makes a big difference, as the Boss looks much less threatening without the huge horse he normally rides.
Tree Sentinel is seen at the beginning of the video. It's unclear what Sentinel is riding on, but once the Skymoon approaches, Thomas's back can be seen. The player attacks and encounters Thomas' face. The player continues to fight the Tree Sentinel and then summons their horses in the middle of the battle. This we see that skymoon's horse has also been modified to Thomas and added to the mod.
This Elden Ring mod isn't the first time Thomas the Tank Engine has been placed in a video game. The iconic train was made into The Elder Scrolls 2013: Skyrim in 5 and has since appeared in other games such as Monster Hunter World, Cyberpunk 2077, Kingdom Hearts 3, and the Resident Evil series.
