There are a few omissions in this feature list. There's no 3,5mm jack for a wired experience here, which means you're limited in terms of compatibility and in case the battery dies. That's a real concern, too, as there's only 15 hours of charging here – solid for the price considering everything else, but it falls short of the rest.
Sound: The soundstage is so good that we use the sound from our middling TVs even when we have our own place. Even though only 40mm drivers are used, the bass is strong and the surround sound is much better than it should be for such a cheap headset. We also like that the outside of the earbuds can be rotated to adjust volume and game/chat balance.
Decision: The Xbox Wireless Headset surprised us all when it launched alongside the Series X console at such a low price in 2020. After testing it in the test room, we were even more impressed.
