Enshrouded lets you take on a variety of enemies, some of which are more brutal. There is a character that helps you get more rewards from the loot you get. Here's our guide to what you'll find in Enshrouded: The Hunter.
Finding The Hunter on Enshrouded
You can find The Hunter by going to his Ancient Vault. This landmark is located directly northeast of your starting base or directly west of the Spring Realms Ancient Spike fast travel point.
Ancient Vault – How to Reach The Hunter
Ancient Vault – The best way to get to The Hunter is to clear the Spring Realms Ancient Spike, which becomes a waypoint. This means you can jump off the tower using your glider before activating the tower. From there, just follow the grassy plateau to the east. Watch out for scavengers and wolf enemies along the way.
Ancient Crypt – Inside The Hunter
When you arrive at the Enshrouded The Hunter location, you will encounter several bear-man enemies. Defeat them and enter the ruins. Inside, you'll need to watch out for electric spheres firing from the walls. Then, when you reach the next platform, swing to the opposite side using your Grappling Hook. You can interact with the glowing capsule and release The Hunter NPC.
Like the Blacksmith you saved earlier, The Hunter can be summoned at your base via the Summoning Wand. What's more, you can summon it within any enclosed structure you've already built (i.e. it must have walls, a door, and a roof). Doing this completes the side quest.
Craft Functions of The Hunter
When it comes to The Hunter's crafting functions, his blue blueprints mainly focus on the use of Fur Piece and Animal Fur materials. There's also the Drying Rack build, which helps protect furs, and Scrap Arrows, which deal more damage than Wooden Arrows. As for basic armor sets, they include:
- Ranger Armor Set – At least one piece contains a ranged critical hit chance bonus and the others have durability bonuses.
- Marksman Armor Set – Has a mix of ranged critical hit chance, durability, and skill roll bonuses.
- Scout Armor Set – Has a mix of ranged critical hit chance, ranged damage, and durability bonuses.
Finally, The Hunter allows you to craft Backpack Expansions, which are of great benefit throughout your journey. You can learn more in our inventory upgrades guide.
It's that simple to find The Hunter on Enshrouded. Note that other NPCs scattered throughout the game world, such as the Carpenter, Farmer, and Alchemist, have crafting functions.
