Pokémon Items and Pokéball Remade in Impressive LEGO Buildings

An admirable LEGO fan builder creates impressive product models from the Pokémon line, including a replica of the iconic Pokéball.

A talented Pokémon fan has built impressive models of some of the franchise's most notable items with LEGO bricks and even added instructions for other Pokéfans to try at home. LEGO and video games have done well together in the past, with gamers giving high praise to their favorite series of building toys and developer Traveller's Tales, which has captured the fun of LEGO in a number of respected video games over the years.

This also applies to Pokémon, as enthusiastic Trainers from all over the world have built models of their favorite places and Pokémon types using LEGO bricks. These consisted of snapshot dioramas of the Kanto and Johto regions of the first two Pokémon generations, models of the three main starter Pokémon of Diamond And Pearl, and even some life-size replicas of iconic Pokémon series mascots like Pikachu and Charmander. Not all of these LEGO/Pokémon mash-ups are made up of physical models, as a fan recently made a cute LEGO render of Hisuian Growlithe from the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Reddit user eyemcantoeknees (aka the talented YouTube LEGO maker brick factory) joined in the crossover fun by posting some pictures of Pokémon LEGO models to r/pokemon. These consist of a Pokémon Egg Incubator, a purple Potion bottle (used to restore a Pokémon's health during or after battle), and the iconic red Pokéball Trainers use to catch their favorite Pokémon. Additionally, eyemcantoeknees, brickmillHe added a link to the building instructions for Pokéball in a comment below their main post, courtesy of 's Instagram account.

These impressive fan-made Pokémon models arrive just as Nintendo celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise this year. Several exciting new Pokémon game announcements were also made throughout 2021, including the highly anticipated remake of Pokémon Diamond And Pearl for Nintendo Switch and an all-new, open-world spin-off called Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Outside of the game, there will be a new Pokémon anime movie called Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle, and Netflix has also announced a live-action Pokémon movie linked to the previously announced TV series.
