Evil Geniuses recruits Boostio to VALORANT's roster. Evil Geniuses announced that they have officially added Kelden “Boostio” Pupello to their VALORANT roster, the organization announced today. Boostio played with the team at the Nerd Street Gamers Summer Championship in August, losing to Cloud9 Blue in the semi-finals.

Boostio is a Jett player who will bring a lot of potential to the EG roster. A former Overwatch player who moved to VALORANT in July 2020.

VALUE He played with Second Wind before moving to Spacestation Gaming during Stages One and Two of the Champions Tour. Spacestation Gaming was never able to attend the Challengers main event, and Boostio left the team in April. He bounced between rosters before joining the trial with Team Basilisk and eventually EG. Boostio and the rest of the team beat the Pioneers and Built By Gamers to the semi-finals of the Nerd Street Gamers Summer Championship.

Despite losing against Cloud9 Blue in the semi-finals, EG still decided to add Boostio to their VALORANT roster. Head coach Christine “potter” Chi described Boostio in the announcement video as a confident player with a lot of energy and skill. Boostio also expressed his desire to meet Cloud9 Blue again in the future to avenge their defeat at the Summer Championship.

The new EG roster includes Boostio, Daniel “roca” Gustaferri, Brandon “BRANTED” Ballard, Mike “pho” Panza, Nolan “Temperature” Pepper, head coach potter and assistant coach Jimmy “LiN” Lin.
