FaZe beat BIG at IEM Fall Europe

2 Min Reading

FaZe Clan finished ninth at IEM Fall Europe today after a 2-0 win against BIG. This result puts the international CS:GO team in a good spot to qualify for the PGL Major Stockholm, even though they depend on other teams' results.

The future of Finn “karrigan” Andersen and his team will be determined at the IEM Fall Europe playoffs starting tomorrow. FaZe, Copenhagen Flames, Fiend, Movistar Riders and ENCE are fighting for the remaining four European slots. To qualify for the PGL Stockholm Major, FaZe would need one of these teams to lose in the quarterfinals and finish in eighth place. “We did our best to get a chance to participate, now we pray,” Karrigan said on Twitter after the game.

CS:GO veteran Håvard “rain” Nygaard and Canadian star Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken played a big part in FaZe's victory over BIG. The couple finished with 51-26 and 48-17 K/D and over 100 ADRs respectively. Twistzz made the best game of the entire series with an amazing one-to-four clutch where Mirage showed patience and precision above all else at the B bomb site.
