With the arrival of Chapter 3 Season 3, new landing sites on the Fortnite map and some changes for your old favorite loot places are waiting for us. As every season, many changes have come to the island of Fornite. While some parts of the places on the map have completely changed, some have entered Chapter: 3 with minor changes.
Below, we've listed a wide variety of loot locations for every occasion, whether you're after guns or just need a quiet place to do some fishing.
Chonkers Speedway (Chonker's Speedway)
As with Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, Chonker's Speedway remains one of the top landing spots in the new season, with one important caveat. The racetrack and surrounding buildings in the area are home to plenty of loot. The loot locations in this area are ideal for stocking up your inventory with some very valuable weapons and arsenals, with a few exceptions. The fast cars on the racetrack make it easy for you to get away from your opponents or loot more places faster.
The downside to Chonkers Circuit is that it's getting more popular than usual in Season 3, meaning you're more likely to run into problems early game. Nearby garages and restaurants give you plenty of hiding places, but it's still one of the most dangerous places to clash. If you don't want to take the risk, slowly descend just north of the main highway and head south in search of loot. That way you also have the advantage of high ground and if things start to get tough, it's easier to dodge towards Condo Canyon or Sanctuary.
Reality Falls
As Chapter 3, Season 3 continues, the Reality Falls area seems to be losing its appeal to Fortnite players. You can land in this area to plan ahead for future matches, as there are far fewer players landing here than at Chonkers Circuit. That's a good thing, because Reality Falls is an almost self-contained ecosystem with dozens of places to seek loot, plan an ambush, or get easy while the top 50 players knock out each other.
There's also the Tree of Reality itself and the cave system behind it, as well as lots of shield mushrooms that gradually increase your shield meter as you jump over them. While you're there, check out the surrounding mushroom forest, as you can usually find two or three near the stems or above the caps.
Musical Cave (Rave Cave)
There are about 60 loot places and chests to collect in the Musical Cave, so this should be your first stop if you want the fastest possible loot location. The amount of loot means you're more likely to encounter other players, but between the Ballers and the cave's own natural hideouts are places where you can stay safe or escape with ease. All this loot makes the Musical Cave a good place to plan an ambush for other like-minded players. If you manage to get a shotgun or sniper rifle, you can take down many players by safely camping on some ledges in the area. However, be careful not to reveal your location while doing this.
South of the Sanctuary Area
The wild areas around the Sanctuary are pretty empty, except for a few randomly scattered loot spots. But if you want to do some exploring, complete basic quests, or just go fishing, this is the perfect place to start. You'll also be close enough to grab high-grade items on the three islands east of the Sanctuary area. If the first storm circle is further away from the Sanctuary area, you can be sure that no one will disturb you for a while.
East of the Daily Bugle
Another good area is the junction between the Daily Bugle and the coast. This spot is usually pretty quiet, but gives you access to a few nearby NPCs and Shrines if you need to stock up. The path itself passes through a shallow valley, making it easy to avoid or ambush opponents. With plenty of loot, the Daily Bugle itself is still a popular loot spot. So you can try to ambush opponents who loot this spot in the East of the Daily Bugle.
South of Tilted Towers
The south of the Tilted Houses may seem like an unorthodox choice, but it has many advantages. First, there is absolutely nothing there (no NPCs, no bookmarks, nothing). While everyone else is on the run to loot houses or explore the Falls of Reality, you can explore the hills and plains with confidence. This area is almost at the center of the map, meaning you can easily enter more civilized areas to replenish your inventory when needed.
Get Your Seed of Reality Nearly There!
It goes without saying, but wherever your Seed of Reality is, you should be there too, regardless of whether it's ready to harvest or not. Even if you're resisting an epic or legendary item, you still need to make sure your seed of truth is free of weeds and does not fall victim to another player's devastating attacks.
Ideally you can plant your seed in a remote location such as the northwest of Logjam Lumberyard. In any case, it's better to protect your seed than to wander around places with lots of loot and where you're more likely to die, like the Musical Cave. Of course, you are confident, you can leave your seed alone and go for extra loot in different regions. If you don't want to wait for the gun berries to sprout naturally, you can use a shield barrel or a splash of slurp to make them grow faster.
