Garena announced in a press release today that the Free Fire MAX will finally launch worldwide on September 28.
The MAX version of Free Fire will offer the same battle royale experience as the regular game, but with better features and improved graphics. Garena said this includes "more realistic maps" and "more immersive gameplay."
There will also be some features exclusive to Free Fire MAX, such as the in-app customizable map feature.
Free Fire MAX will support full cross-platform play with the regular version of the game. This was made possible by the "Firelink technology" developed by Garena to provide "complete interoperability" between the two titles.
So players will be able to use their existing accounts and sync all data between both games. All modes can be played together in both versions of the game by any Free Fire player.
Pre-registration for the game is currently available on the Google Play Store until September 27. Players who pre-register will receive some “special rewards”.
