G2 Esports has officially unveiled its League of Legends roster for the 2022 season. It has made new additions to the upper and lower lanes to support the returning mid-jungle core of Caps and Jankos. European kings have made a lot of moves this season after a disastrous 2021 season in which they missed the World Championship.

Veteran top laner Broken Blade joins G04 from the now-defunct Schalke 2. In a change from the organization's strategy to deal with proven top talent, G2 will kick off the season with Spanish ADC's Victor “Flakked” Lirola and Belgian backing Raphaël “Targamas”. Flakked is a rookie who has played the last two seasons of the Spanish SuperLiga's MAD Lions Madrid. Targamas have improved in the ERLs since 2019 and have been EU champions in four of the last five divisions. He played for French giants Karmine Corp in 2021 and won back-to-back EU Masters titles in one of the strongest amateur squads Europe has ever seen.

You can watch G14 and other European teams battle it out when the LEC returns on January 2th.
