League of Legends Patch 13.10 is on the horizon, and Riot Games developers were not lying when they said they would use the 2023 Mid-Season Invitation silence to shake up the game.
That said, there aren't actually many champion changes in the May update, but that's not exactly light reading. Instead, Riot is shipping four new items and changes to nearly every other item in the Rift, although technically one is a returning upgrade, according to balance boss Riot Phroxzon, who announced the new League of Legends Patch 9 changes on May 13.10.
Neeko and a few ADCs are the only champions that have actually been replaced after Ivern's midrange update was delayed a bit.
This patch is also pretty weak in the costume department with only three characters with cosmetic variants, but these three lucky champions will be decked out with some cool new Snow Bear skins.
Here's everything you need to know about League Patch 13.10.
League 13.10 Patch release date
According to Riot's patch calendar, the next update for 2023 will be released on Wednesday, May 17rd. As usual, the patch will be released worldwide throughout the day, starting around 10:00 AM (AEDT) in Australia. Here are the key patch release times for some of the major League servers:
- 3am P.T. (NA)
- 5am GMT (EU West)
- 3am CET (EU North East)

There will be a few hours of outage when the patch starts. Matchmaking and competitive queues will be disabled on all League servers three hours before the update is officially released and goes live.

What's coming with League 13.10 Patch?
Four new items hit the store with League of Legends Patch 13.10
Four new items, or rather three new items and the glorious return of a classic, are coming to the League store with this update. These are the new Mythic item Echoes of Helia, the Lifewell Pendant and two Epic support items called Chalice of Blessing, and Statikk Shiv.
These new items are mostly bottom lane-themed, and AD carriers and supports are likely to lick their lips for the new toys.
Delayed launch of Ivern midscope
While the long-awaited Ivern mid-scope update was originally scheduled to arrive on live servers in League of Legends Patch 13.10, the Riot developers have instead decided to keep it in the cooking pot for at least two more weeks.
When ready, Green Daddy's base range stats, Q, W, E and ultimate abilities and Jungle Friend passive will be replaced. The Unity update team is specifically trying to make Ivern's Daisy ultimate more menacing and adding some more AI power to its coding.
Winter comes to Rift for three League champions
Only three League characters will receive new skins this mid-May patch: Ahri, Morgana, and Varus. While in a smaller package this time around, the upcoming 2023 cosmetics look incredible, all trio will feature glow-in-the-dark snow-themed glows thanks to the Snow Bear variant line.
