The new tactical superhero game Marvel's Midnight Suns has released a new trailer announcing the release date at Summer Games Fest Live. The game will be released on October 7, and the trailer also featured Spider-Man as a playable character.
Midnight Suns is a tactical RPG game somewhat similar to XCOM, another tactical strategy game from developer Firaxis Games, where you control a team of superheroes in battle. In the game, you play as an important part of the story, managing the heroes named Hunter.
The Alliance is a little different from most Marvel teams in that it was assembled specifically to deal with supernatural threats led by Lilith, the Mother of Demons. Hunter is an important part of the story, but will be customizable by players in appearance and power sets. The announcement covers most heroes from the Marvel universe, including members of the Midnight Suns' hero roster, the X-Men, Avengers, and Runaways.
Midnight Suns is coming to PS7, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 5, with a Switch version coming later. Pre-orders are open, but Midnight Suns is currently closed to our country on Steam.
