It will be available on November 15, but pre-orders are open.

Microsoft is celebrating the Xbox's 20th birthday with a few new, translucent accessories, including a wireless controller and wired gaming headset. They'll launch on November 15, 2021 - marking 20 years of the day - and pre-orders are now available.

Starting with the controller, Microsoft says its translucent look is a callback to the transparent controllers that came with the original Xbox debug kits. There are splashes of the brand's signature green around the Xbox home button, as well as the D-pad and rear grips. Microsoft has painted the components silver to make them easier to see inside the case. But internally, it's the same model that came with the Series S and Series X consoles, with Bluetooth support for connecting to mobile devices and PCs. This controller costs $69,99 to pre-order via the Microsoft Store and Amazon.

The wired Xbox stereo headset also gets the translucent treatment, but on a smaller level. The ear cups are transparent and have a green 20th anniversary mark on the left ear cup. There are bright green accents in the grilles between the ear cushions and the cups, as well as the microphone. This special edition headset will cost $69,99 from the Microsoft Store and Amazon, and $10 off the price of the standard model.
