The reason why there are five Steam games you missed on Steam About a dozen new games are released on an average day. And while we think that's a good thing, keeping up with it can be difficult. If you don't review every single game released on Steam, you can be sure that potentially exciting gems will be lost in the flood of new things to play.
Moth Lake is the first of the five Steam games you missed
Steam Page
Released: 3 December
Developer: Stefano Mazzotta (Il Sui)
Launch price: 7$ | 7£ | AU$10.15 | 73,50₺
The first of the five Steam games you missed, Moth Lake is a horror point-and-click adventure game set in a small town during the solar eclipse. It follows the unfortunate adventures of six teenagers who discover this creepy little town and face some brutal truths about their lives. It's definitely a horror game—the '90s-style pixel art does a surprisingly good job of capturing an ominous, oppressive atmosphere—but don't expect fierce jump scares or gore, instead it's a slower burning approach to psychological horror. You'll need to manage the energy and mood of the group throughout the adventure, which not only affects their interactions with other characters, but can also have an impact on how the narrative plays out as a whole. The modern point-and-click adventure is all the rage these days, but this one looks quite different.
Dwarven Skykeep
Steam Page
Version: 2 December
Developer: Hack the Publisher
Launch price: 14,44$ | 12,14£ | 21,20AU$ | 153,00₺
The second of the five Steam games you missed, Dwarven Skykeep is an interesting mix of base and deck building. You'll play as a mage tasked with building and defending an enchanted castle across five worlds with different environmental challenges. This means equipping him with essential things like forges and forges, as well as fortifying his defenses and keeping your dwarf sidekicks happy (mostly with beer). All this is done through cards: each session yields a new deck of cards, and the way these cards are used and combined will play a role in the success (or failure) of your build. There are loads of fun characters and enemies to interact with, and everything is wrapped in a jolly 'n' chunky pixel art vaguely reminiscent of Terraria.

Taking control of the famous Knight Witch, you'll explore the world of Dungeonidas, shoot baddies from the back of your broom and unique magic dotted throughout. of your cards Thanks to the powers it gives (wait) you will become more and more powerful. land. Yes, there are cards. It seems these allow some freedom in how your witch evolves: Is your desired playstyle schmup-centric, or would you rather use "Witch magic"? I would like to do both and according to the Steam page I can. Some early Steam user reviews point to some uneven difficulty curves here, which may or may not be corrected in the coming weeks.
Soccer Story
Steampage
Version: 30 November
Developer: PanicBarn
Launch price: $18 | £13,94 | AU$26,05 | 28,80₺
Not Tonight's from the creators(opens in new tab) A similarly dystopian game, Soccer Story, is coming, albeit in a much lighter tone. In the brutal world of Soccer Story, soccer is banned worldwide. In the midst of this gloom, a sentient soccer ball arrives on the hero and is tasked with saving football. In a style similar to Golf Story still not on PC, Football Story wraps sports game action around an adventure RPG. As you explore, you'll use your trusty cannon to solve most problems, but you'll also have the opportunity to play the banned game. Early Steam reviews suggest that this had some teething issues initially, but studio PanicBarn has already had at least one released a big patch(opens in new tab).
