Netflix has announced Tekken: Bloodline, an animated series based on the hit fighting game series, which will be released in 2022.

Netflix shared the news on Twitter, releasing both a teaser trailer and a poster focusing on Jin Kazama.

“'Power is everything.' In the official synopsis, Jin Kazama learned the family martial art, Kazama Style Traditional Martial Arts, from his mother at an early age. “Even so, he was powerless when a terrible evil suddenly appeared, destroying everything precious to him, changing his life forever. Angered at himself for not being able to stop it, Jin vowed revenge and sought absolute power to get it.” The King of Iron Fist Tournament.

The trailer also details some of the Tekken characters that will be a part of the show, including those appearing as Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya Mishima, Leroy Smith, King, Jun Kazama, Paul Phoenix, and Ogre.

This animated series is not new to the Tekken universe, as an anime Tekken movie arrived in 1998, a live-action movie in 2009, and an animated movie – Tekken: Blood Vengeance – in 2011.
