Optimization comes to new games with Nvidia GeForce update

Nvidia GeForce has released a new set of Game Ready driver software for a number of games, including Overwatch 4, ahead of its early access launch on October 2.
The drivers will optimize performance on Nvidia GPU hardware for a few games and offer support for new G-Sync compatible gaming monitors.

For Overwatch 2, players can expect faster target acquisition, response times and aiming accuracy thanks to Nvidia Reflex support. Technically speaking, increased frame rates with greater motion clarity will also be available when using a compatible 360Hz G-Sync monitor.

Microsoft Flight Simulator gamers can also take advantage of their GPUs, as the update includes DLSS 2 support for this flight simulation game, providing plenty of graphics power without pushing their computer too hard. The Nvidia RTX 40 series goes on sale in October, but don't expect the hardware to get cheaper over time. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recently confirmed that the high prices of the new hardware, starting at $4080 for the RTX 12 900GB version and up to $4090 for the flagship RTX 1600, will remain stable.
