Pokemon fan art combines Haunter and Glalie. Pokemon fanartists are creating impressive pixel art of what it would look like if someone combined Ghost Pokemon Haunter and Ice Pokemon Glalie.
Pokemon fans recently shared the idea of a fusion between the Phantom-Poison Pokemon Haunter and the global Ice Pokemon Glalie. The exciting pixel art provides a glimpse into what Pokemon fans can expect to see in a hypothetical new Ghost-Ice Pokemon.
Pokemon fan art Unites Haunter and Glalie. The new idea of combining two Pokemon is not a new one among Pokemon fans. Several websites allow fans to combine Pokemon in hypothetical combinations with unique artwork containing elements of both. The extravagant Pokemon Summer and Pokemon Winter also had a concept called FUSEmon, which is a small number of special Pokemon created by combining two special Pokemon. However, such fusions never made it into the Pokemon canon.

User Houndoom_Kaboom drew a mix of Haunter and Glalie and shared his art on the Pokemon subreddit. For the uninitiated, Haunter is a Gen 1 Phantom Poison Pokemon with a face and two floating arms. Meanwhile, Generation 2 Ice Pokemon Glalie similarly consists of a large, floating snowball-like head. The combination of the two therefore makes a lot of sense and is reminiscent of a Haunter with Glalie-inspired paint and horns.
Houndoom_Kaboom is a well-known Pokemon fan artist who shares a few of his creations on the Pokemon subreddit. In her previous post, she had a gallery of images where she paired her namesake Pokemon Houndoom with several other Pokemon, including Umbreon, Eevee, Granbull, and more. It also has photo galleries of Pokemon fusions, including Ghost-Fire Pokemon Chandelure, Water Pokemon Milotic, and Psychic-Fairy Pokemon Gardevoir.
Most fans of the Pokemon subreddit were very impressed with Houndoom_Kaboom's latest work, but so were the critics. For example, one commenter thought it looked more like a skin or variant than a new Pokemon. However, the praise far outweighed the criticism. The top comment on the post was someone pointing to this fan-made fusion as proof that the franchise needs more Ghost-Ice Pokemon. Another commenter said that the artist wanted Pokemon fusions to be canon.
