The Invincible is an upcoming sci-fi game announced last fall based on the 1964 novel of the same name.
The game is the debut of Starward Industries, a studio made up of former Techland and CD Projekt Red designers. After sharing screenshots of the intriguing project, Starward released the first teaser trailer that creates a tense atmosphere for the space travel adventure.
Famed science fiction author Stanislaw Lem arrives at the planet Regis III. Invincible Telling the story of a spacecraft landing The Invincible Wrote . The team of explorers is on a mission to find its lost sister ship, but the crew discover an alien ship and a mysterious self-replicating lifeform. The trailer features female protagonists who explore the surface of Regis III, Dr. Introducing Yasna and her ally, Astrogator Novik. Starward describes the game as a cinematic adventure thriller with branching stories that result in multiple endings.
The Invincible was previously scheduled for this year but will instead launch for PlayStation 2022, Xbox Series X/S and PC in 5. While we still don't know much about the game's gameplay moment by moment, the retro-futuristic aesthetic and famous source material should be enough to get sci-fi fans excited.
