The Republic of Riders beta is now public on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. The beta will run from Wednesday, August 25 to Saturday, August 28.
Ubisoft introduced Riders Republic, which resembles a Forza Horizon-style racing festival with X-Games-like bike, snowboard and wingsuit flying events, to players with a two-minute trailer.
Republic of Riders launches on October 28, 2021 on beta platforms, as well as Google Stadia and Amazon Luna. Ubisoft first announced the game in September 2020 and was originally due to be released in February, but has delayed it until this fall to give players the best fun-filled experience. The studio is also the team behind the 2016 ski and snowboard video game Steep.
In Republic of Riders, players will ski, snowboard, bike, and glide in an "extreme sports fantasy world" set in virtual versions of US national parks, including Bryce Canyon, Yosemite Valley, Sequoia, Zion, and Mammoth Mountain.
