VALORANT brings big changes to 5.10 agents in Patch 3

VALORANT Patch 5.10 brings important updates for three agents.

The developers are targeting Cypher, Fade, and Harbor with a number of balance changes in the final patch, which is expected to hit live servers in North America today.

In the case of Cypher, the developers admit that the agent is not where they want it to be. The Moroccan agent remained in the background due to the popularity of Chamber, who, like himself, was in the sentinel role. To increase the effect of the agent on the game, the developers are making changes to the Booby Trap and Neuron Thief abilities.

VALORANT developers increase the Booby Trap's range from 1000 to 1500. Neuron Thief, on the other hand, will now spawn enemies twice instead of once. However, there will be a four-second delay between them when showing the location of the opponents. Also, there will be no cast time restrictions on enemy corpses and the cast range will be increased to 1800.

Harbor will also see a buff in Patch 5.10, the Waterfall ability will now have two purchasable stacks instead of just one. This buff will allow the agent to exert more influence on the battlefield.

Meanwhile, a few nerfs are targeted for Fade. The developers claim that the agent's Death ability is difficult to play against, so they're reducing the duration of the ability to 2,5 seconds and the melee time to 2,75 seconds. The bite delay after hitting the target has also been increased to 0,6 seconds, and Execution abilities will now respawn and will no longer neutralize enemies if teleported before the animation ends. Fade's ultimate, Nightfall, will also see its cost increase to eight.

First of all, VALORANT developers will release changes for Chamber in the near future. However, it is not yet clear when the details of these changes will emerge.
