Riot Games has banned Slaze, a member of Polaris, from this weekend's VALORANT Champions Tour Game Changers Series Three Main Events for account boosting. However, Slaze claims it's a targeted attack.

Slaze posted a TwitLonger explaining his side of the story. Claims that he does not boost anyone or unsupport their accounts. He also claims that the problem is that haters and haters who don't like him use their friends at Riot to target him.

The penalty prevents Slaze from competing with Polaris in this weekend's VCT Game Changers Series Three Playoffs, forcing his team to find a new player soon and forcing Slaze to watch from the sidelines. Slaze also talked about how hard his team has worked to get to this point and asked someone from Riot to help with his situation.

Riot hasn't made the accusations public of anyone targeting Slaze, and it's unclear whether that will happen before the Game Changers event this weekend. A competitive decision announcement further explaining the situation would likely clear up any misunderstandings, but Slaze will not be allowed to compete in the upcoming event.

Polaris beat CLG Red in the opening qualifiers but lost to Cloud9 White in the upper quarterfinals. They came back with a win against 24Haven in the second sub-round and secured their place in the playoffs.
