Valve previously confirmed that Dota 2022 patch 2 will be released on February 7.31, following the completion of both the 23 Dota Pro Circuit Winter Tour Regional Finals and the current battle pass.
At the time, Valve wasn't releasing any information about the actual update, but now the developers have confirmed that they've done a major rework for Techies.
Clearly, Patch 7.31 will be far more effective than a rework for everyone's favorite or least favorite explosive team of "experts". It's set to be a big change for the meta after the drought of larger updates over the past few months and will likely dictate a lot to the next phase of the 2022 DPC season.
The 2022 DPC Winter Tour Regional Finals will conclude in February. Aghanim's Labyrinth: The Continuum concludes the first phase of the season, with the Conundrum battle pass ending shortly after.
