Microsoft hasn't announced an exact release date or price for the Xbox Mini Fridge, but said it's still on track to launch this Holiday.
According to Microsoft, the Xbox Mini Fridge is starting to launch in Holiday 2021. In response to someone asking about the mini fridge, general manager of Xbox game marketing Aaron Greenberg, confirmed that it's ready to launch this holiday, and that the company will share more when possible.
Shown as its "World Premiere" during Xbox's E3 2021 showcase, the Xbox Mini Fridge is shaped like an Xbox Series X console and appears to contain around 10 12-ounce cans. It was previously confirmed to be in production after the Xbox narrowly beat Skittles in a social media branding contest. The refrigerator was actually inspired by people who said the console looked like a refrigerator.
People may have worried that the mini fridge would miss the Holiday 2021 release window as it didn't show up during the Gamescom 2021 Xbox broadcast or during the Gamescom Opening Night Live. Microsoft has announced both Halo Infinite's launch on December 8 and other hardware coming this year to celebrate the Xbox's 20th anniversary. Microsoft has announced the Halo Infinite Elite Controller and Halo Infinite Xbox Series X, both of which are limited edition.
