The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Big Sky Island consists of several landmasses with four Temples that you will visit as part of the main quest. Ukouh Shrine

You will use Ultrahand, the first skill you will acquire in the game. It lets you capture objects so you can lift, rotate, move, realign and attach them. The temple itself gives you the task of finding ways to reach ledges and cross gaps. You will do this by attaching boards to hooks or by connecting platforms to make bridges.

Temple of In-Jesus

You will then head to the In-Isa Temple in the west. Along the way, you'll use a board that can travel along a rail and a sailboat to cross the river. At the In-Isa Temple, you will learn how to Fuse.

This ability allows you to combine a weapon or shield with another type or material, thereby increasing its effectiveness in battle. But in this particular area, your Combined weapons will shatter and destroy obstacles.

Gutanbac Temple

The next site on the Big Sky Island of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom is the Temple of Gutanbac, all the way east. It will be quite a challenging hike where you can expect:

  • Build a boat with the Zonai Fan attached so you can cross the lake. This is also where you learn about the Energy Cell, a battery that slowly depletes when Zonai Devices are actively powered.
  • You will enter several mines where you will learn about the zonaite material and its uses.
  • When you return to the upper world realm, you will notice that it is extremely cold. This is where you will gather and cook the Spicy Peppers that will keep you warm. Don't forget this special area, as this is where you will eventually collect the Spicy Peppers to prepare for further adventures.

As for the Gutanbac Temple itself, Ascend this is where you will get it. This power allows Link to travel through solids and eventually ascend to a higher platform or ledge.

Closed door

After clearing the Gutanbac Shrine, you will see a Zonai Device Dispenser. These items have a limited pool of Zonai Devices that you can acquire for Zonai Charges. For now, Wings will allow you to glide all the way to the Temple of Time, where Rauru awaits. Unfortunately, Link doesn't have the power to open the door yet. Therefore, Rauru suggests going to a fourth Temple.

Nachoyah Temple

The Nachoyah Shrine is just above the Awakening Chamber where you started your expedition. You will use the Recall/Restart ability, which temporarily slows down time and resets the position of objects. For example, the waterwheel can move clockwise instead of counterclockwise, allowing you to reach a higher ledge.

As for the Nachoyah Temple, the main puzzle involves a door that will only open if the two clock hands are in the same position. With this in mind, use Rewind to adjust the position of both hands before allowing objects to move normally. When you see them overlap, aim once again with Rewind and hold the door open for a long time.

Once the Fourth Temple is complete, Link should be able to open the door in the Time Temple. Beyond, you will need to use your newly discovered abilities to reach the end of the elevated platform. Rauru will also bid you farewell, but you can return to this area at any time.

This marks the end of the Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom Big Sky Island Big Sky Island training phase. From this point, you will parachute into Hyrule's Lookout Landing, which will serve as your hub. The game will also open, allowing you to visit regions to complete the main quests in the order you want. However, you may want to know where to go first, as the game gives you a bit of a jolt.
