Riot's partnership with Prime Gaming is ending.

In 2021, the second-to-last Prime Gaming award for League of Legends will now be available to all players who have linked their League account to their Amazon Prime account.

Over the past year, Amazon and Riot have partnered to provide 27 separate skins for League players who link their Riot and Amazon Prime accounts. Today's in-game loot piece marks the penultimate skin piece that players can get through the promotion. The last skin piece available through Prime will be available to claim on October 4.

To get today's skin shard, first link your League account to your Prime Gaming account. If you do not have an account with Prime Gaming, you can create one through the Amazon Gaming website.

After connecting your League and Prime accounts, go to the League of Legends section on the Prime Gaming homepage. Once you're there, click the button that says "Request" to win today's skin piece. After claiming your piece, you can unbox it from the Hextech Crafting menu in the LoL client.

The skin piece you receive is guaranteed to be a skin for a champion you already own. You cannot obtain a skin part for a champion that is not already in your inventory. So, if you're looking for an opportunity to grab a skin for a champion you've got your eye on, you might want to purchase the champion before claiming your skin piece on Prime Gaming.

If you're not happy with the look piece you get, there's always the option to rewrap it with two other pieces in a random permanent overlay that will instantly add to your collection.

This skin piece and next week's final skin piece in the promotion will be available until October 28, when the partnership between Riot and Prime Gaming ends. It's unclear at this time whether Riot and Amazon have any intention to renew their partnership.
