Hearthstone celebrates the Winter Veil with a quest chain, themed skins, and the return of two seasons of Tavern Brawls. Hearthstone players can participate in a Legendary Quest starting Tuesday.
How to get free card packs?
Three missions have been added and there are even six card packs total. Players will be rewarded with a standard pack of cards as well as a pack of Fractured in Alterac Valley for each completed mission.
In addition to the winter festivities, players can claim a free Snowman Thrall skin when they visit the store on Tuesday.
While browsing the store, players can purchase Hearthstone Battlegrounds packs as well as themed packs for the traditional Hearthstone game mode. Players can also purchase the Greatfather Winter Magni Hero Set.
Hearthstone players can also play against others in the Gift Exchange Tavern Brawl, which includes receiving gift drops.
If a player is participating in the Gift Exchange Tavern Brawl for the first time, they will get their Winter Veil Treat card back instead of a regular card pack.
Next Wednesday will include the Wacky Waxy Winter Veil Brawl. This returning Tavern Brawl includes Large Waxy Gift cards. When turned on, the card provides the opponent with a random discounted Legendary minion. Hearthstone players can still earn honor points for their chosen nation.
The Winter Veil event will end on January 19, and Battle for Alterac Valley 1 will end on January 11.
