2- Component Life
As you can imagine, a more expensive motherboard usually means higher quality components. Bad capacitors are one of the most common faults on cheap motherboards. On the other hand, more expensive motherboards usually have better power control components.
3- Upgrade Options
The purpose of the motherboard is to connect all the components that make up the computer. To build a cheap system, you should use a cheap motherboard.
Cheaper motherboards may offer 32GB of RAM and 1 PCIe slot, while more expensive motherboards may offer 64GB of RARM and 3 or more PCIe slots. Again, the difference lies in the capabilities of the motherboard chipset.

Overclocking has pretty much become the norm in today's world, with more expensive motherboards offering much better overall processing performance than cheaper motherboards.
