Amouranth outraged at Twitch staff ban policy Popular streamer Kaitlyn 'Amouranth' Siragusa explained why she hated Twitch's ban policy and accused platform employees of not communicating in case of suspension.

Amouranth is the world's most-watched female streamer and miles ahead of its competitors, but that hasn't stopped her from criticizing Twitch.

The Jacuzzi streamer was banned several times during his time on the platform, and while some of the reasons for his suspension were clear, others were not, and Twitch had no way of knowing, thanks to their policies.

Full Squad Gaming During an interview with Siragusa, he lashed out at the Twitch team for not talking to each other, making the experience extremely difficult for both him and the other streamers.

Amouranth complains about Twitch's ban policies

When asked about his own controversial moments that resulted in bans on Twitch and the site, Amouranth kept his word, citing the platform's lack of communication.

“I hate prohibition policies,” he said firmly. “It looks like a team is disconnected on Twitch. The Trust and Security teams are not even communicating with the rest of the Twitch team.”

According to Amouranth, the Trust & Safety team responsible for the suspensions refuse to contact Partner Managers about what publishers did wrong and why they were banned.

“If you have a Partner Manager, they often can't tell you what you're doing. They say, 'Yes, you received this violation in a general category,'" he continued.

Siragusa said even Partner Managers had no idea why publishers were suspended and offered little help only because they were not given any information from Trust and Safety in the first place.

“You don't even know why to avoid it! This is really frustrating. They just ban you and don't tell you why,” Amouranth continued.

It is not yet clear whether Twitch has taken into account Amouranth's comments and implemented the changes, but we do know that he is not the first streamer to call out as he has not been able to communicate with the platform.
