Squad Up, the newest in-game event for Apex Legends Mobile, went live last night and will be available for the weekend only. The event encourages players to team up with friends and complete missions as a team in exchange for free rewards. Squad Up consists of a series of missions that can only be completed with a pre-built team.
Players who complete all missions will receive a number of free rewards, including in-game currency and Epic-level Fade holospray. Here's everything you need to know to finish this event quickly and ensure that both you and your two friends get loads of free rewards.
What You Need to Know When Getting Started with the Guide
When you log in, you will see a series of landing pages advertising various events, one of which is the Squad Up event. When the event ad opens, you can go to the Squad Up event center by tapping the floating banner on the right side of the main lobby screen. Alternatively, select the “Season Event” banner, then tap the “Limited Time” tab at the top of the screen. After that, select “Create Team” from the vertical list located on the right side of the screen, between “VIP Access” and “Daily Rewards”.
Quests and Rewards
Note that these missions can only be completed with a pre-prepared team. However, don't worry too much if you don't have a team of friends to play with. Because making friends in lobby chat is easy. Make sure you have teamed up before choosing “Go!”.
The missions and rewards of the event are as follows:
- Play 1 match with your friends in Hack Mode: 2.000 Seasonal Currencies
- Play 1 match with your friends in Kings Canyon: 1 Double XP Card (active for a single match)
- Play 2 matches with your friends in any multiplayer mode: 3.000 Seasonal Currencies
- Play 2 matches with your friends in Hack Mode: 10 Syndicate Pack Pieces (enough to create 1 full pack)
- Play 3 battle royale matches with your friends: Phase Current Fade holospray (Epic level)
- The missions aren't particularly difficult, but players determined to unlock all five rewards will want to take action. The Squad Up event will only be live this weekend and will end at the end of August 7.
If solo playing feels faster, make sure you complete all unfinished Conqueror of Kings event challenges, check out the latest Phase Heist collection, and check out the Distortion season overview to make sure you don't miss any free deals. You can find Season 2 loot and daily login rewards in the overview.
