Riot Games' League of Legends-inspired animated series Arcane has been breaking records on Netflix since its first act aired. After the second act, it topped the Netflix platform's Most Viewed category in over 50 countries, and the culminating final act showed that the show retained its place on the platform.

Arcane is the most-watched Netflix show in the world, according to statistics website Flixpatrol, surpassing other international sensations such as Hellbound, Cowboy Bebop, and Squid Game. As of November 21, Arcane is still the most watched TV series in 34 countries and is in the top 90 of nearly 10 countries it broadcasts.

Riot Games' first fully animated series received critical acclaim along with praise from fans. Arcane has an excellent 100 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has an impressive score (9.4) on IMDB.

The sudden success and rise of Arcane has already secured the making of a second season. Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent announced the start of production for the Arcane season just two hours after the final act aired. While fans are looking forward to the continuation of the series, Laurent has informed fans that the series will not be released in 2022.

The series has been one of Riot Games' biggest and most successful projects, bringing waves of new players to their already existing games. Riot Games has created one of several veteran and well-received video game show adaptations, and now it's looking to expand its story even further.
