Assassin's Creed Mirage has very reasonable system requirements, it looks like Ancient Baghdad won't burn through your GPU. Ubisoft's upcoming Assassin's Creed Mirage game is on the way, and not only is this older AC game cheaper than other major games released recently (it'll be $50), but it also apparently requires a lot less meat on your machine to run.
Honestly, thank God. Steam's hardware survey last month says nearly all of us meet the Mirage's low minimum bar, except for a small percentage of Steam users on lower-end machines, and the vast majority of us meet or far exceed the recommended Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti.
I know a lot of this will depend on how well this thing is optimized for PC. Frankly, Valhalla wasn't perfect when it was released, but you know what? At least this game is targeting a full generation of graphics cards, which Starfield requires as a minimum (to pick the low-hanging fruit), and I'd bet $20 on it that it'll run better than what Starfield gets from that hardware.
That doesn't mean Ubisoft is completely neglecting the high-end features you can get from a fancy card and processor, as evidenced by the PC specs trailer and post. The frame rate is unlimited and Mirage supports HDR and multi-monitor/ultrawide setups. The fact that it's optimized for Intel's Arc GPUs, which few people use, isn't that exciting. Intel's XeSS upgrade is mentioned, but there's no mention of Nvidia DLSS or AMD FSR, which is disappointing – although someone will probably hack DLSS support as was done in Starfield.
There's also a haptic feedback vest that promises to stab you for the 0,001% of players interested in it.
