Astralis parted ways with WhiteKnight and promisq after finishing last in the 2022 LEC Spring Split.

“WhiteKnight and promisq have been an important part of the first Astralis roster in our LoL team for the past 1.5 years,” Astralis said in a statement today. The team is now actively looking to make roster changes as they head to the upcoming LEC Summer Split.

“We wish them both success in their future lives. Astralis will reveal all the details of Summer 2022 when everything is in place,” Astralis added.

These sudden roster moves did not come as much of a surprise to fans following the Europa League. Astralis failed to qualify for the playoffs in the third season. This time, the team finished last in the LEC with a record of 3-15.

Both WhiteKnight and promisq joined the team when the organization announced it would be part of the LEC in 2022. WhiteKnight left BIG and Promisq left G2 Esports to join Astralise. It is not yet clear where both players will go next. The same goes for Astralis.

The 2022 LEC Spring Split returns with the playoffs on March 25.
