2 new games set in the Dead By Daylight universe are in development! Behavior Interactive has decided to expand the Dead by Daylight universe, creating two new games in the universe. One of them will be a story-driven game, and the other will be a multiplayer game.
The story-driven game will be developed by Supermassive Games, known for titles such as Until Dawn, The Quarry and The Dark Pictures Anthology. The studio plans to offer Dead by Daylight with the same single-player story structure. The game will take place in an environment outside the reality of Entity, offering a new cast and story.
Traci Tufte, Producer of Supermassive Games, said, "We've been working hard to create an intense story experience by combining the suspense, interactivity and branching narrative of Supermassive with the mythology of Dead by Daylight. "This experience will be filled with powerful life-death choices."

The multiplayer game will be developed by Midwinter Entertainment, known for its multiplayer survival game Scavengers. Cloud technology company Improbable sold the studio to Behavior Interactive last year. According to Midwinter Entertainment producer Audrey Mladina, the vision of the game will be a PvE experience where four players get together to enter one of the Entity's areas and fight enemies instead of facing each other.
Supermassive Games stated that they will reveal more information about the game later this year, while Midwinter Entertainment stated that their project is still in the very early stages.
Meanwhile, players can expect Nicolas Cage to join Dead by Daylight on July 5.
