Diablo 2: Resurrected System Requirements Slightly Higher Than Original

Diablo 2 ran on an 8MB Pentium 233, but the remastered version requires a slightly better system.

Diablo 2: Resurrected is out today, and if you're eager to descend into the hellland of Sanctuary but aren't sure if your computer has the power to support the experience, here are the system requirements to help you figure it out.

Of course, you probably don't worry about such a thing. Diablo 2: Resurrected has been massively updated, but at its core it's still a 20-year-old game. In fact, since the “underlying game engine is the same”, if you have some old Diablo 2 saves lying around, you can manually import them into the Resurrected version and pick up where you left off in 2000.

Online characters cannot be imported unfortunately: “There are profound differences between today's modern Battle.net and the platform we launched with Diablo 2 years ago,” Blizzard said.

This engine compatibility doesn't mean a 20 year old PC will run this new and improved game, but the hardware requirements are pretty easy and airy. If you have a fairly competent laptop in your hands, you should be ready:

  • OS : Windows 10
  • Processor : Intel Core i3-3250/AMD FX-4350
  • Video : Nvidia GTX 660/AMD Radeon HD 7850

  • Storage : 30GB
  • Internet : Broadband Internet connection
  • Resolution : X 1280 720

Recommended Features:

  • Memory : 16GB RAM
  • Storage : 30GB
  • Internet : Broadband Internet connection
